Dear Carolyn,

I just wanted to try to express to you just how special and meaningful you helped make my wedding. As my parents have said, looking back to the time before the wedding, the process of seeing you and having the dress gradually progress from my mother's beautiful gown to it's transformation into my wedding dress was the most important to me in terms of "preparing" for my marriage, and everything that goes along with that. Thinking back, I am astounded at how (literally and figuratively) the dress seemed to change, and me long with it. I am truly thankful for your spirit and energy, your caring and creative process, and your wisdom. On my wedding day I felt that all the love and meaning of my parent's wedding was with me; that I was truly a part of something much bigger that day. It's hard to describe the significance I felt of paying honor to that event while adding to the tradition, and significance of the dress at my own wedding.
